Research into digi-paks

My next step after my magazine advert is to begin to create our digi-paks. As i am working in a group, we are individually going to create our own digi-paks and then choose which one will be the best. I decided to film my two cousins of what type of music they listen to and what type of album covers they would buy and why. Below are my videos:

In this video, Keeley talks about The Wanted's album and why she prefers it to Justin Biebers. She says that The Wanted album offers more to her as it contains more images, more information and has posters inside it. The Wanted album is a digi-pak which tells me that this comes to more of an interest to the audience as they are getting better value for their money as they have more to look at and read. I think that it is a very good idea that The Wanted have included extra posters inside their album as it means that their fans can keep these seperate from the album and could put them on their walls, this may make people want to buy this type of album rather than others. Below are some images of The Wanted digipak;

Here i have interviewed Kelsey who is a younger age of Keeley to ask her what she thinks of Dig-Paks. Kelsey states in this video that she does not really like Digi-paks as she thinks that their is too much contained into one thing. For example, some artists decide to do more than one CD in some of their digi-paks but kelsey said that she does not think that this is a good idea as the more CD's their are the more boring she finds them. I asked Kelsey what she would like to see in my digi-pak and she said more images than writing and bright colours as this would interest her more.
